We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership between Apicunia, the Regulatory Services Platform provider, and Digiteal who are joining forces to deliver smarter, more resilient, and regulation-ready payment services.

As payments continue to grow in scale, complexity and reach, so do the regulatory demands around security, compliance, and fraud prevention. This partnership combines Apicunia’s innovative thinking on Verification of Payee (VoP) with Digiteal’s vision to accelerate and simplify the European payment ecosystem, ensuring businesses and financial institutions are ready for the evolving payments landscape. Both companies align on delivering APIs to enable embedded finance.

Scaling Verification of Payee with Digiteal

Partnering with Digiteal, provides Apicunia with the opportunity to further broaden the scope and scale of our Verification of Payee solutions.  This is particularly so for our Corporate VoP check capability, which allows institutions to validate large volumes of payee details quickly and efficiently. This is a crucial step in combating fraud, reducing failed payments, and maintaining compliance across jurisdictions.  Corporate treasuries may now choose to employ Apicunia’s VOP service directly, rather than rely on that of their PSP, for an improved payments processing journey.

Together, Apicunia and Digiteal are raising the bar for Verification of Payee by thinking beyond the conventional.
